Twilight Challenge :#61 – A Touchy Feely Vampire Valentine

 

With Valentines day fast approaching and everybody in a lovey dovey, touchy feely kinda mood, I thought the most obvious thing I could challenge you all to is to create a Valentine’s day card for your favourite Twilight Saga character *sigh*…Rob…I mean…Edward….What?? A girl can dream can’t she??!! …But then I thought….Nar, too easy! 

So this is what I would like you to do…. 

Craft Portion: Make a VALENTINE’S card/project for your favourite character or for YOUR valentine… but…. with texture!! That’s right I want you to add things like lace, raised embossing, distressed edges, fuzzy fibres, metal, cloth, cracked glass, leather, flower soft, sandpaper, anything that adds texture! 

Comment Portion: Tell us your favourite Valentine’s story…Or if you haven’t got one, Tell us who you would like to snuggle up on Valentine’s day with from the Twilight Saga..

Hello everyone! This is Erica and I am bringing you this week’s TTIC project.

I love red. It is one of those colors that envokes so much emotion. Whether it be love or hate, red is passionate. When watching New Moon I just love the visual of all the people in red capes at the Saint Marcus Day Festival. Red was all around during Christmas time, and now with Valentine’s day, there is so much inspiration around.
Creative portion: Create a project either using the color red or expressing what red means to you.
Comment portion: Tell your best “red” story. Is it that great red dress that caught everyone’s attention, have you “seen” red before, anyone like Red Velvet cake? Anything goes!

I’m usually not one to make resolutions, but this year, I thought I’d give a few a try    A few are typical, like taking the time to smell the sunflowers and daisies, using up not only my scraps but also my unused much horded scrappy stuff too, and drooling more over Edward, hee hee! I have others, but don’t want to get all deep and mushy right now!

__Welcome to the first Twilight Tuesday Scrapbooking Challenge! I am so excited about these new challenges. Every other Monday, I will be giving you a new topic. This topic will be taken from the pages of the wonderful Twilight Saga, and then I will reinterpret it to fit into our “real” lives! Next, YOU get to make a scrapbook page(s) about the topic! We want to know about you and your life! But, you can of course, make it about the books/movies as well! It’s up to you! We want you to have fun!!!

On to the first challenge… The wolf pack is made up of brothers. Not brothers by blood, but by the situation that binds them together. They are a family unto themselves. So, who’s in your pack? Who’s by your side no matter what? Is it your best friends? Maybe it’s actually your blood relatives! Are you a part of an extended military family where those on  base with you are your new pack? Make a scrapbook page(s) or mini album about this very important bond!
