Stepping into the Moonlight… AI day 3

authorJen | June 25, 2009

I’m so glad to be able to bring you another day of amazing creations from our collaboration with Artful INKables!

This first card is designed by one of our Guest Design Team members, Alison. Alison used the 4 book tribute stamp from the Into the Moonlight set as well as fantastic swirl stamp from Fictionally Inspired. I love the unique design of this card and all the wonderful distressing.

Our next project is from Dani. Dani has created a super cute card with Greeting from Isle Esme. This card has lots of fun sparkle!

This weeks third project is from Jacquie, she is also a Guest Design Team member. Jacquie has made a beautiful and richly colored card featuring the the “Forever” stamp and the swirl stamp.

Our next project has been designed by Margie. Margie has gone a little out of her Team Edward comfort zone and designed an amazing Team Jacob card featuring the gorgeous wolf stamp from the Into the Moonlight set.  Doesn’t it look awesome with all the rich layering and edge distressing?

This next card nearly left me speechless. What an amazing design by Eve!!! I’m just going to let this WOW design speak for itself.

Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #36: Special Collaboration with Artful INKables!

authorJulie | June 23, 2009

AI_logo_color_2Are you ready for THIS?  We have some BIG  news for you today!

We are so excited to announce that we have a partner for today’s challenge — Artful INKables!   To celebrate the release of their two new stamp sets called Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired, we’re working with the Artful INKables team on today’s challenge!

Artful INKables was founded by Kristin Soboloski to express her love of rubber stamps, art, and all things crafty. After crafting for many years, Kristin began to design her own rubber stamps and her company was born.

And about these new stamps…you have got to see them for yourself!   They’re the buzz of the online crafty community!  Our Design Team loves them and we’re sure you will too.  And you will definitely recognize the inspiration behind them.

Visit Artful INKables‘ store to check them out and get your own sets!  You’ll also want to check out their new Vampire Romance-Themed Pewter Charms Set; they’re beautiful and would be a great addition to any vampy project!Artful Inkables Banner Ad

Now…brace yourself for more good news…AMAZING BLOG CANDY!!

Kristin from Artful INKables has generously provided us with three sets of her new stamps, along with a set of the Vampire Romance charms, to use as giveaways!

We will be giving one set a week, in conjunction with our next four Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenges.  This week, the giveaway is the eight-piece Into the Moonlight set!   To enter into this random drawing, please leave a comment on any of our challenge project posts this week, today through next Monday. Yes! That’s right, we’ll be featuring projects all week long! See below for details. Comments can be left until Monday, June 29th, at 11:59 p.m. CST. Only entry per person will be in the drawing, but feel free to comment as many times as you like!

And for the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge theme this week —

The theme for this week’s challenge (TTIC36) is What Says Twilight To You?

So many things say “Twilight” to the multitudes of Twilight fans.  What images do you think of when you think about the Twilight books and movies?

For some, Twilight means an apple, for some, the chess piece on the cover of Breaking Dawn, and for others, Bella’s truck conjures up the Twilight mood.  Many fans love to express their Twilight love by choosing a “team” to root for, and others have favorite quotes from the book that are near and dear to them.

For the craft portion of the challenge:  create a piece that expresses what comes to mind when YOU think of the Twilight saga.

For the comment portion of the challenge:  Many people often say that reading the Twilight saga has been life-changing.  Please share how the saga has changed your own life or made you view life in a different way.

And of course, this week the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge Design Team has used Artful INKables’ new stamp sets for their projects. Check out today’s projects:

Beth ~ Dani ~ Eve ~ Jen ~ Julie ~ Margie ~ Rebecca ~ Tonya

And Our Guest Designers:

Alison ~ Donna ~ Jacquie

And we’ve been SO inspired by these new stamp sets that our Design Team has created lots of additional projects with them this week!   For this special occasion, we will be featuring these projects here (and on the Design Team members’ personal blogs) for the next week!  Can you tell we’re excited about all of this?

Don’t forget that today’s challenge is a team effort, with members of the Artful INKables Design Team playing along with these new stamps as well!  Get ready to start your blog hopping!   Please stop by and show ‘em some Twilighter love!

Announcing – Twilight Tuesday’s New Guest Designers!

authorTonya | June 4, 2009

We were so pleased with the response we received for our Design Team call!   We had so many great, Twilight-inspired entries and we truly thank each and every designer who submitted their work to us.  We genuinely appreciate the time and work that was put in to each submitted project.  Having so many impressive entries did make this decision a difficult one…but, we did reach a decision.

The three guest designers are:

Alison of Alison’s Random Thoughts

Jacquie of Family and Crafting

Donna of Donna’s Diary

Congratulations, Alison, Jacquie, and Donna!  All three of these talented women will bring something new and unique to our TTIC challenges.  We can’t wait to see what new ideas and creativity they will add to the mix!  You can see their winning entries below (rest your mouse on each thumbnail to see the designer’s name, and click the thumbnail to see a larger version of the photo on Flickr.)

Again, we extend our sincere thanks to all who participated in this design team call.  Stay with us!  Please keep participating in our challenges, commenting on the blog, & chatting in the forums – we really like having you around!  Creating a sense of community is what we’re all about here, so we will continue to find ways to make this a friendly place to share your work, your ideas, and your love of crafting and Twilight.

And…there will be another call for guest design team members to look forward to, coming in September!
