Color Challenge #4: Jacob’s Colors

authorAlison | February 11, 2010

Image

Hi! It’s Alison again! Ok Wolf Girls! This one is for you!!! This challenge is “Jacob’s Colors!” We have russet for his skin/fur, back for his long locks (until he chops it off of course!), and olive… well, not every color has to have a meaning! And I really thought that olive green looked great with the other 2 colors! So, have fun and enjoy! You do NOT have to make a Jacob project (although I KNOW that Beth would be thrilled if you do!), make anything you want using these 3 colors. :D

Please join in for Twilight Tuesday’s last Color Challenge! I am so glad that so many of you got so excited about these challenges. I am sorry that they have to end…  But, hopefully we will find each other in other challenge blogs! Can’t wait to see what you create!

PS: I want to give an extra special Thank You to my wonderful friend Julie who helped me create these stars. There is NO way I could have done them without her amazing help. I love ya girl!!! I hope we can collaborate more in the future!!!

Color Challenge #3 Bella and Edward’s Wedding Flowers

authorAlison | February 9, 2010

Image

Here are the Bella and Edward’s Wedding Flowers!  We’ve got Lilac, Orange Blossom (yes, for those of you with green thumbs out there, orange blossoms are actually white…but just work with me here ok? ;) ) and finally, Rose. It’s a very soft pallete. And I hate the winter… so I needed a pick me up with these colors! These are the lovely flowers Alice picked out for the Wedding. What a pretty  combo of flowers don’tcha think? So create something soft and beautiful for this challenge. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Mr. Linky is still on the fritz. So please leave your links in the comment section. Thanks!

Also, we will be running our last Color Challenge (sniff!) on Thursday, so please be sure to come back and visit us for that!

Color Challenge #2: Thoughts of Bella

authorAlison | January 26, 2010

Image

Hello! Happy Tuesday! Alison here with our Second Twilight Tuesday Color Challenge! This week, my colors were inspired by Bella. I chose Garnet because originally, that was her favorite gemstone (before she went & changed it to Topaz for Edward’s eyes!). Next, I picked Phoenix Sky Blue because Bella frequently mentions how she misses the colors of her hometown. Lastly, I decided that we need to throw a neutral into the mix, so I picked Forks’ Sky. It’s a grayish green. Don’t get too thrown by the shade I chose… if you just use a regular gray, that’s fine! But if you wanna try to really wow us… go for this a little more interesting, if not a wee bit dreary color! Can’t wait to see your creations!!!

TTSBC #4 The Unflattering Side of Pregnancy

authorAlison | January 25, 2010

Hello! It’s Alison bringing you the next Twilight Tuesday Scrapbook Challenge! Ok, hear me out with this one. Think of this as a celebration of the New Year. As a purging of the soul. As a way to get out the nasty feelings we sometimes have about ourselves that will make us feel better. I betcha you’ll feel a lot better! Spoiler Alert!!! If you have not read the entire Twilight Saga then STOP!!! Go finish it already ;) and then you can come back to read this post!

Bella looked like…well, she looked like hell in Breaking Dawn when she was pregnant. I think all women at some point (if not all) during their pregnancy that they just don’t look their best. That glow? Yeah, that’s just sweat! You know what I’m talkin’ about! This week, I want you to make a layout (with or without photos) about how you looked. Journal about how you think you looked.

No kids? Make a scrapbook page (again, with or without photos) about a time when you think you didn’t look your best.

Check out what I came up with to inspire you! Please play along!!!

Alison

PS: I’m not sure what’s up with Mr Linky… but he seems to be in a bad mood. If you’d like to play along, please leave your bloggy info in the comment section! Thanks!!!

When you do, here are a few guidelines to follow:

1. Have fun! We want you to enjoy making Twilight inspired projects as much as the rest of us. There’s no pressure here, so make what you’d like when you can!

2. The layout does not have to be about The Twilight Saga, it can be about your life! However, if you’d like to base it off of the novels or movies you are of course welcome to!

3. Your scrapbook page does not have to contain photos. You can use ticket stubs, journaling, etc. You don’t need photos to make a killer page!
