So, like I always say…
The standard disclaimer: If you haven’t read Twilight – WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU??? If you haven’t finished the series then skip this chatter because we might spoil something for you and we definitely don’t want to do that.
This Week’s Story:
A Constant in the Darkness by Camoozle
The Premise:
Bella, suffering from an eating disorder, returns to Forks to care for her estranged father. She seeks comfort in Edward, an aspiring chef, who is having difficulty dealing with his own demons. ~camoozle
The Verdict:
This one was originally recommended to me by Donna. I let it sit on the back burner for a while because I was knee deep in other fics and real life. Monday I was looking for something new to start so I went back through my fan-fic email folder. Yes, I have an email folder dedicated to Twilight fan-fiction. We don’t need to talk about the implications of that for a 33 year old working mom and wife. We really don’t. 
So back to the story. I started reading and from the very first chapter I was hooked. These two characters are a lot of what I love in other stories… witty, sarcastic, bitey but also something I don’t always get… real. They feel very real and genuine in their emotions. Their fears are well founded and well developed and explored. Their connection to each other is also very believably described and electric in away that a lot of stories aspire too but fall short of. And the final straw that holds it all together… the plot is well developed and works.
Should you read it… oh absolutely! Run don’t walk to read it!

How funny I was going to ask you if you have read this one Jen lol! I really like this one and she updates pretty regularly. Edward and Bella are perfectly balanced for each other in this one. Great Rec Jen!

Ohhhh so you do listen when I recommend something to you!!! Just kidding! I am so glad you had time to check this one out Jen…It’s no Clipped Wings…But I think it’s really well written and I have enjoyed the story line. E and B together in this FF are exactly what Jac said, perfectly balanced….I am glad you liked it! Xx
