I didn’t go to a release party — I wish I had some Twilight crazed friends nearby to go with, but I don’t! Anyway, I bought the 2 disc Blu-Ray DVD Saturday morning at Target (after doing a little research it has all the same footage as the 3 disc regular DVD), the reason for the Blu-Ray is for future viewing on a hi-def tv.
I have watched the movie through twice, once without the commentary and once with. Plus I watched all the extra footage. I didn’t get the chance to see the movie in the theater – so this is the first I’ve seen of the full length movie (I’ve seen clips online). I really like Charlie’s character in the movie, he really steals the scene at times. Oh… and I picked up the Twilight conversation hearts earlier last week to snack on while watching the movie.

TFS Laura! Silly me didn’t know that I could still purchase the Blu-Ray and still be able to watch it!
I like movie-Charlie more too! Billy Burke did an awesome job!
Enjoy your treats

I went to Hastings in Lawrence, KS for their release party. I went by myself but met some great Twilight fans that were my age and older (26). One woman even had a tattoo on her wrist that looked like fang marks with the words “Edward was here” written in the script from the back of the book.
I watched the movie when I got home with the commentary and then I watched it yesterday with a friend who is reading the books right now.
I haven’t seen the outtakes. I did watch the deleted scenes and extended scenes. The only one I really wish they would have kept was the one with Esme and Carlisle talking about how Bella brought Edward back to life.
I only bought 1 copy of the 2-disc special edition, but if there is a 3 disc edition, I might have to buy that one too.
Since I was one of the first 24 people to reserve their copy at Hastings, I got a free Twilight crest watch. I reserved my copy in February when I was at the store getting my dad’s bday gift. My dad knows about my horrible obsession and actual enabled it today when he surprised me by buying me a box of the candies. He said that they had to be good with a candy that said “Bite Me” on them. I thought that was really nice. Don’t really like those types of candies, so I might just put them up so that I can display the picture of Edward.

That’s what I said Michelle! If I was 18 again, I would’ve trained into NYC and had a blast!
Looking forward to hearing about what your fave part is

LOL…unfortunately I couldn’t make it to a release party. So far I have two copies – the Borders exclusive (LOVE the pics with this one) and the Target 3 disc. Have the Amazon blu-ray on pre-order. Crazy, huh??

LOL! I just purchased my Target copy! But I’m thinking that I may want to splurge on the copy that comes with the jewelry box and other cool things too! Not crazy, we are all very passionate

I am going to end up with 3 copies I am sure of it. My friend watched the movie with me and loved it, so maybe I can get her to buy the Target version so that i can watch the extra features on that one too. Hope you enjoy all the watching.

Passionate, or OCD??! Yup, the version I have coming from Amazon is the blu-ray with the jewelry box and other goodies. I think this package is also at Costco, but with the DVD instead of the blu-ray. I don’t even own a blu-ray player, but at least I’ll be ready when I get one!

Yes so I have OCD lol U first ran in Wal-mart to see their new Twilight section and bought a set of key chains (one that had 1 Edward and 1 Jacob). I wanted to see their party lol since it is across the parking lot from Borders where I was going. They had 2 nice cakes with Edward on them. I bought the Borders Exclusive DVD and love love the box. I also bought one from FYE because I wanted a cover that had Edward and Bella on it also. OCD. I have watched about 3 times. I loved watching the movies and listening to the commentaries. Rob was hysterical. He kept making fun of his little bouffant hairdo lol Borders was packed.
