It’s Time For Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #24

It’s Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge time!

Hello and welcome everyone to Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #24! Our theme this week is none other than:

Dr. Carlisle Cullen

Carlisle is an important part of the Twilight saga. In fact there is even a chapter in Twilight named after him. In this chapter we learn about his history as well as how the Cullen family was started.

The Creative Challenge: create something from Carlisle’s history. It can be about anything: his life in London, how he swam to France, when he turned Edward into a Vampire…

The Comment Challenge: Is there something in your family history that you are proud of? Is a relative of yours famous for some reason? Do you work on your family’s tree? Tell us something about your family’s history.

Please leave all comments and links here, and if uploading to SCS – use keyword TTIC24.

Remember to check out how you can win this month’s Blog Candy. Time is running out, so hurry!

Don’t forget to play our Scavenger Hunt as well! We have some fun prizes to give away!

Now, go check out the rest of the DT’s Twilighty creations:

Great challenge Dani! I really learned a lot making this one. :D

Now I don’t really know all that much about my family’s history. I know my dad was part Native American but I’m not sure exactly how much and my mom is part Italian and part Irish. Beyond that I haven’t done any digging into my family tree. Someday…

Great challenge Dani. I just love Carlisle. He is right up there with Edward and Alice for me. I can appreciate his love of family since I am so nostalgic about every little thing lol Great job everyone!

I think I might be a day late, but here’s my entry. The website address will lead you to all my crafty stuff but if you peruse through, you will see my original design dedicated to Carlisle. As far as my family history goes, I suppose you can thank some of my relatives for a few things in this world which most people have. My cousin-in-law is credited with being the “Father of the Cell Phone,” I know this sounds preposterous, but it’s true. His name is Martin Cooper (go ahead, google him) and my uncle who recently passed away was a beeper king til he sold his company back in 1980 to Metromedia. But my most famous (to me) relative is/was my Mom. I lost her to cancer in 2006 but she left me with invaluable lessons that I summon up from my heart everyday. She was Mother & Father both to me and my brother. She, along with numerous other women, paved the way for us, our daughters and grand-daughters to break thru the male dominated business world. She is my hero. Hope you like the Bat/Cadyceus pendant I created for our dear Carlisle. Thank you.

My great-great grandfather was born on the ship on the way over from Czechoslovakia and was our first US citizen in the family as he was born closer to the US shore than Europe. But mostly I’m proud of my father and his brother who served during WWII and my brother who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam war. I applaud all of those who wear the uniform to keep our country free.

I know this one is over, but I was told that I could go back and do some of the other challenges, and this was my take on Carlisle.
