TTIC 20: Italy

Can you believe we’ve already had 20 challenges? It seems like yesterday that Tonya was explaining to me what the challenges were and how to participate. Now we have 20 behind us and who knows how many more ahead of us.

Okay, I’m done being sappy.

So this week I thought it would be fun to focus a little on the new scenery we will be seeing in New Moon (only 269 days): Italy. Specifically Volterra square. I’m excited that we’ll be seeing one of the most picturesque beautiful landscapes in the world with some of the riches historic architecture ever created. (Can you tell I’m an art teacher?)

So for your creativity challenge this week I want you to revel in the beauty that is Italy. Showcase the landscape, the culture, the food, the music… anything that catches your fancy about Italy.

For your comment challenge I you want to tell me if you  have been to Italy? What did you like best about it? Have you been to Volterra? And what are you hoping the director of New Moon captures about Italy in the movie?

  I really liked the challenge this week — plus I got to try out my cute, new vampire stamp I picked up from Michaels. Now I really want to plan a trip to Italy to check out Volterra.

  Great challenge Jen! So many thoughts and ideas flashed in my mind at first, but then I settled on one image and had just the stamp to go with it. Unfortunately my project turned out a hot mess, so I won’t be posting it but I will be working on it and hopefully will have it posted before next Tuesday!
