Happy Twilight Tuesday!

This week’s challenge is brought to you by Dani!

Our theme: Twilight Music

I just love the music from Twilight. Between book, the movie and even Stephenie Meyer’s playlist there are a lot of great songs. My iPod is full of Twilight music.

Here is a song to help inspire you:

 

 

Now for the Challenge:

Comment Portion: What song/music do you think of when you think about Twilight? Is there a song that just screams ‘Twilight!’ to you? Why?

Crafter’s Portion: Music is an important element in Twilight. Let the music from the book or the movie inspire you!

    I love music and this challenge has so many possibilities- thanks Dani!

    What “screams” Twilight to me is actually the score and Bella’s Lullaby. You can feel the tension building and then it releases, there is softness and light and I feel all the emotions I felt when reading the novel listening to it.

    I’ll be back later with my crafty craft.

    Chocolate by Snow Patrol is a song that reminds me of Twilight but isn’t part of any of the soundtracks or playlists. I think it fits perfectly!

    Whenever i hear Love Story by Taylor Swift I always think of twilight. The “romeo and juliet” to me, are really edward and bella :)

    I think breathe by taylor swift shoulod be the new moon theme song
    as for twilight:
    love story : taylor swift
    i’d come for you : nickleback (other NB songs that would work for the whole series: never gonna be alone, gotta be somebody

    hi crafty gals! jen/deconstructing jen found me over at letterstotwilight.com/letterstorob.com and told me about twilight tuesdays and i’m pumped that I can post my scrappy goodies! I love this challenge.

    I created a 12×12 that uses the lyrics from ‘boys boys boys’ by lady gaga the line “you taste just like glitter mixed with rock n roll” totally makes me think of edward!

    I LOVE music…and I am very moved by music. I’m “one of those people” that cries at the hallmark card commercial because the music is “moving”. I absolutely love ALL the music on the Twilight soundtrack and the Twilight Score soundtrack. There is one song…that makes me think of Twilight and specifically, Edward, everytime I hear it…it’s even the song that I was listening to when I got “caught driving like a Cullen”. Nathasha Bedingfield’s – Angel. That song to me just screams Twilight. I had just bought the CD while I was reading the series, and it literally brought tears to my eyes when I heard it!

    Okay so I just posted, but it went “poof”..sorry if this is a repeat. I don’t know what happened or where my post went. ANYWAY, I love all the music on the Twilight Soundtrack and The Score from Twilight. I’m a person that is very “moved” by music. I’m “one of those people” that cries at the hallmark commercial because the music is beautiful. Anyway, there is this song that I just love, and I had purchased the CD when I was first reading the Twilight Series. This song immediately made me think of Twilight, and Edward, of course. It literally brought tears to my eyes because, to me, it was a reflection of Edward and Bella’s relationship. It’s even the song that I was blasting when I got CAUGHT “driving like a Cullen”. It just grabbed me and sucked me in…It’s Angel by Natasha Beddingfield. You can check it out on my blog – It’s still #1 on my chart.

    Okay, here’s my first challenge — be gentle!! I always get a little nervous sharing my work since there are so many GOOD papercrafters out there.

    I just created a blog for my crafty stuff, so it’s still very barebones yet. But I enjoyed the challenge and look forward to doing more in the future.

    BTW, my all time fav songs are Flightless Bird and of course, Bella’s Lullaby! I was soooo angry in New Moon when he took her CD!

    I LOVED the baseball game music because it made the event fun and captivating. And I thought the Bella Lullaby was superb because it drew you in as if her were playing the piano for just you. If the question was about “new” music I’d go with ONE by U2. Thanks

    Reading prior comments, I also enjoyed the score that was chosen for the movie. Yet, for a new song that strikes my memory of the book (New Moon), I would pick Don’t Take Away My Love by V.A.S.T.. The words are very fitting for what happens between Edward and Bella
