Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #13

Howdy all! I’m Jen and it’s my turn to pick this week’s Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge. I also get the honor of posting our first official TTIC challenge on our sparkly new blog!! We are still growing into our new space so look for new additions and features coming soon. Please check back through out the week to see what other crafters are creating and for any creative ideas that our design team members may be posting. As always look our for that blog candy that may appear at any time. All you chatty folks please check out our forum: http://twilighttuesday.com/forum.
Now on to what you are here for, this week’s challenge!!
This week I thought it would be fun to put the spot light on some of the supporting characters in our beloved books. There are so many delicious and under utilized characters in these books I thought we should step back from our beautiful Cullen’s and give a little love to the Angela’s, Quil’s, Charlie’s and James’s of the world.
So here is your comment challenge: Tell me who is your favorite minor character in any of the books and why do you love them? Or conversely who is your least favorite and why do you cast them aside?
If you two are having a fight… well, don’t let me interrupt.
Charlie Swan, Eclipse, Chapter 9, p.201
And for the crafters challenge ~and when I say crafter I do mean any form of creative expression – you know me with the jewelery and the drawings and the whatever – let the creative spirit flow, cue Bob Dylan at any time
~ Wow, I’m digressing… THE CHALLENGE, Jen, the challenge. Okay. Here goes.
Create something that embodies the spirit of your most favorite OR most hated supporting character from any of the five books (yes Julie, you can use Midnight Sun). And for clarification purposes – supporting character means no Bella, no Cullen’s (no Hale’s, McCarty’s or Whitlock’s either, you cheaters) and gasp, no Jacob, anyone else will do.
In the spirit of our challenge today I would like to leave you with a bit of reading devoted to a pair of supporting characters that really could have a whole book devoted to them: Quil and Claire. Enjoy!!!

Wow- this one will definitely be a toughie, what a GREAT challenge! I’ve got a few ideas rolling around in my noggin, I’ll be back to share later in the week.
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season. 2009 is going to be da bomb; I’m looking forward to November!!!!! WOW- I can’t believe I just typed that, at least last year I only had about four months of waiting- I was a late comer to the Twilight saga!

Love, love, love Seth…he could care less about who is who and is naturally a loveable guy. Charlie would be my second fav, only cuz he is so stinking funny. My least fav is Jessica…even in the movie, she comes across as shallow and dippy. I can totally think of fakey girls from high school who would fill her roll nicely. Bleh!

I think my fave supporting character is Bellas mom – I think of Charlie as a main character I guess. But Bella’s mom! Especially in the third book I think when they go visit her and she *senses* the extent of the relationship between Edward and Bella. She truly loves her daughter!
Least favorite – Marcus – the Volutri that always seems ready to accuse!

I’ve uploaded my submission on SCS, it might not be approved for a little while. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1185417?cat=500&ppuser=24687
Because every great story needs an antagonist (or many antagonists), I chose the Volturi as my inspiration for this challenge. I’ve actually been hoping the Volturi would be one of the challenges so I could use this image! They represent tradition and strength and intimidation and deception. I don’t dislike the Volturi but don’t really like them either.
Thanks to the desgin team for another great challenge!

Great question…I think Rosalie did a nice job of being in the way yet helping when asked. I guess you could say she was a good supporting actress! tnx
